About Me

Since qualifying as a speech and language therapist with a Postgraduate Diploma from City University London in 2001, I have worked with pre-school and school-aged children in a range of settings in West Sussex. Working for the NHS for 14 years, my work comprised assessment, therapy and training in clinics, mainstream primary and secondary schools, and special schools. Over the years I developed a specialism in social communication and Autistic Spectrum Disorder, working in specialist classes for children with ASD, providing outreach services to mainstream schools, and working with other health professionals as part of a multi-disciplinary ASD diagnostic team.

I have been working independently since 2016. I am registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT). I am also a student member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
